Eye examination

A "classic" examination takes place in two stages.

A first test, carried out using an autorefractor, provides an indication of the visual correction within a few minutes.

In our refraction rooms located upstairs, we then carry out the optometric examinations, which make it possible to measure various parameters in order to assess vision and thus obtain the correction.

The examination takes about 60 minutes.

Contact lens fitting

Fitting contact lenses means finding the most suitable lenses based on what is available in a constantly evolving market.

To achieve the best result during the fitting: we take into account the data from the eye examination, namely the correction values needed to correct visual defects as well as various individual parameters such as the curvature of the cornea and its diameter, eyelid tone and the composition of the tear film.

We will also select the lenses according to the customer’s intended use: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual replacement?

We support the customer in inserting and removing the lenses. A session to handle the lenses correctly will always be offered.

The customer will be able to test the lenses at home, at work, during sport and then one or more follow-up appointments will follow to check the visual acuity, comfort and biocompatibility of the chosen lenses.

An annual check-up is recommended to update any changes in the basic parameters.

Depending on the materials chosen, we will guide you in the care of your contact lenses, which includes cleaning, disinfection, storage and rinsing.

As part of the in-depth eye analysis, we precisely measure the visual performance of each eye in order to determine the vision problems specific to each individual. These results serve as the basis for choosing glasses lenses or contact lenses in the best possible way.

Vision test for a driver's license

When obtaining a driver's license, a vision test is mandatory. It is intended to determine whether you need visual aids to drive on the road. Please bring your identity card to your vision test.
